Recruiting an ESR for PROTECT
Castlebridge is recruiting for a funded research position as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network, PROTECT – ‘Protecting Personal Data Amidst Big Data Innovation’ Training Network.
This role is aimed at people who are Early Stage Researchers who want to develop their research careers with a strong industry focus in an interdisciplinary context in the area of Data Protection and Ethical Information Management. The role is open to anyone meeting the ESR criteria who has not lived in Ireland for more than twelve (12) months in the past three (3) years (this does not include short visits for vacations or periods of time spent in Ireland as part of an application procedure for refugee status).
Successful applicants will be employed by Castlebridge as Trainee Consultants for the duration of the funded programme (currently 27.5 months) while they conduct their PhD research and work on the defined research objectives of the ESR engagement in PROTECT. This means that you get the experience of working in a fast moving advisory and training services company at the front-line of data protection, data governance, and data ethics, working with organisations as diverse as early stage start-ups to government agencies. All this while pursuing a PhD working on defined deliverables under the PROTECT network’s work plan.
