UK Police investigated for surveillance camera misuse

Sky News are reporting that police officers in the UK are to be investigated for tweeting a surveillance camera image taken from a police helicopter that featured a celebrity comedian Michael McIntyre which they subsequently posted to twitter.

The ICO is quoted as saying:

Police forces, like all other organisations, must comply with the Data Protection Act,”
