Irish Data Protection Bill launched
The text of the Irish Data Protection Bill 2018 was published last week. Initial reviews suggest a mixed bag in the drafting, with some provisions clearly at odds with the protection of fundamental rights and the views of the Data Protection Commissioner and various other organisations.
