Emily Overton (aka “RM Girl”) has something like 15 years in the industry. Her claim to fame is being a Records Manager who is allergic to dust.
She is likely found in basements or attics in boiler suits hunting out physical records and taming them into something resembling a structured system. Emily has amazing karate skills thanks to invisible spider webs. She has never yet felt compelled to tell someone “I told you so” but many opportunities have occurred.
Her specialities include Information Asset Registers, Offsite Storage Contracts & Contents, BS10008:2014 & Scanning, Retention Schedules & Policies, GDPR, EDRMS, Systems Implementation, Contract Management, Information Risk and Data Audits.
Emily has served on the Board of the Information and Records Management Society. She is a Fellow of the IRMS.
If you’ve read this, she likes cheese scones.
Emily is based in London but works with Castlebridge remotely or can travel to client sites depending on the requirements of the engagement.
